What we collect

We use Google Analytics to count aggregate page views and roughly understand which sounds are popular. Google Analytics sets a first-party cookie and records anonymized browser metadata — country, device type, referring site, the URL you're on, and what you click. We do not link this data to any account, because there are no accounts on this site.

We use Google AdSense to display a single in-content ad slot per page. AdSense reads its own cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

What we don't collect

No accounts, no email collection, no IP-address logging, no fingerprinting, no third-party trackers beyond Google Analytics and AdSense. Your custom soundboard saves to your browser's localStorage and never reaches our server unless you click "share" — at which point only the slug list (no personal data) is encoded into the share URL.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets _ga and _gid. Google AdSense sets a small set of advertising cookies. Browser localStorage is used by the soundboard maker (key: sbh.board.draft) to remember your custom set across sessions on your device only.

Children

The library is filtered to be safe for kids. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Because we don't ask for any personal information, the site is suitable for classroom and family use.
